Named after the person who made computers take words.
Grace Hopper built the first compiler and, with it, the idea that a machine could be told what to do in something closer to language than to numbers. Every coding agent is a late footnote to that idea.
She is also the reason this product refuses to say "done" without evidence. The discipline she is remembered for was not optimism about machines — it was the insistence on checking what they actually did.
What this is trying to be
A coding agent you can leave running without spending the frontier allowance on every step, and without having to re-check whether the work it reported as finished actually happened. Those are the only two promises on this site, and both of them are being measured before they are advertised.
Who is behind it
Grace is built by Parsimic, a sole proprietorship based in Heidelberg, Germany. The owner is Taha Aslan.
What it is not
- Not a model. Grace uses models; it does not train or sell one.
- Not a proxy that resells cheaper tokens, and not a router that swaps in a smaller model when the allowance gets thin.
- Not an IDE. It is one command in the terminal you already use.
